Is there anyone who will accept the person that is without
hope or remedy and is in danger? Is there anyone that can
really backup all the claims that they make? Would a person
be disappointed in the claims of another if he found that the
claims were not exactly so?
Jesus taught that for those that find themselves lost
in guilt and danger, without a remedy, often discover
the Holy Spirit drawing them to God. Jesus ACCEPTS
that person's faith as he gives up anything that could
possibly hinder his salvation. He comes to Jesus as is-
"All those which the Father gives Me will come to Me;
and he that comes to Me I will in no way cast from Me"
(John 6:37). The terms of Jesus are on an "as is basis"
to completely give the sinner the promise of a pardon,
holiness within (without it no man will see God), and
the promise of heaven, if he endures to the end.
The Writer to the Hebrews stressed the importance of a
very significant fact of the ability of Christ. That is
that He does not fail, He can do what He claims He can!
"He is ABLE to save forever those who draw near to God
through Him, since He now lives forever to make prayer
and intercession for them" (Heb 7:25). The safety and
the happiness of the Believer is that this everlasting
High Priest is able to save to the uttermost, in every
time and in all cases. He does not forget any case!
Isaiah preached a message of encouragement to those who
would believe by faith and wait expectantly for salvation
from God. God promises that He will not disappoint them-
"And you will know that I am the Lord; Those who hopefully
wait for Me will not be ASHAMED" (Isa 49:23). For those
that exercise their faith, hope, patience, and wait on God
for the fulfilment of His promises, will be satisifed!
Let us remember who is our Best Friend. God's Name is
Jehová Adonai. He is the God who accepts us as we are
without any modifications. He is the God who will never fail
you nor forget you. He will never leave you or let you down.
Lift your hands to your Best Friend. Praise Him and thank
Him for all the blessings of His acceptance and friendship.
