Did God make man (Adam) perfect without any blemish, defect,
or imperfection? Does the nature of man have excellency as
a common feature? Were we created as the offspring of God?
What did God do to create the universe and was it difficult
for Him?
Moses tells us that God took a very common substance that lies
beneath our feet(dust, dirt) and made Adam; but made him perfect-
"And Jehová Elohim formed Man, dust of the ground, and breathed
into his nostrils the breath of life; and Man became a living
and eternal soul" (Gen 2:7). We see what man's body was created
from, and the intent of the passage is that man should not glory
in the excellency of his own nature. His own nature is what made
a choice to disobey God, and man's excellency was lost in sin.
As Paul preached in the midst of the Areopagus to preach to the
men of Athens, he explained to them that God needed nothing from
them but that their need was to understand God made everything--
"He is not served by human hands, as though He needed anything,
since He Himself gives to all- life and breath and all things"
(Acts 17:25). He further explained the creation of man from the
perspective that we are actually the offspring of God created
with an eternal soul. God's declaration to men everywhere is
that they should repent and turn to righteousness because God
Has Appointed a Day of judgement for everyone.
The Psalmist declared that the power of God was tremendous and
the whole structure of the universe was made by His power--
"By the Word of the Lord the heavens were made, And by the
breath of His mouth all their host" (Psa 33:6).
It was not with great pains and time as some would have you
believe, but all was created with His Word. His power is not
dependent on what the finite mind of man may comprehend.
Let us remember Who has the holier and righteous way.
God's Name is Jehová Elohim. He is the God who puts
our feet on a Highway of Holiness that allows us to
enter at the narrow gate of eternal life, not the wide
Broadway that leads to destruction. Lift your hands,
heart to Him for His Creation and provision of the
righteous way. You can Trust Him and Praise Him
Today for a holy way and better way!
