Are God's promises of blessing to Israel absolute and
will they receive them? Are those promises without any
conditions to receive the blessings from God? What do
you consider a reasonable condition for one to receive
blessings from God and His favor?
Paul explained the mercies of God to the Romans with an
example about Israel. Although they had become enemies
of God by rejecting the Gospel, they will continue to be
favored by Him because of their holy forefathers. Those
who know the grace of God will not look at ways to limit
His grace, but search that others may find mercy as well-
All Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "The
Deliverer will come from Zion to remove all ungodliness
from Jacob" (Rom 11:26). Israel will be gathered as a
nation in addition to the present remnant of Israel. It
will be a time that they will turn from their own ways
to follow God's ways.
Isaiah explained to Israel that God's grace and mercy are
not without conditions. There is no absolute promise by
God that is without a condition. Those persons that can
receive God's mercies are to those that regret progress
of infidelity and impiety. That person is one who hears
the gentle voice of His Holy Spirit and receives Him--
"And a Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn
from transgression in Jacob" (Isa 59:20). His Spirit is
what turns a person from sin and turns sin from him. He
is patient to ALL and waits for men to search for Him,
but He redeems and justifies only those that accept His
call and reason.
The Psalmist prayed for the mercies of God to the future
generations of Israel and the Church because salvation is
not possible by Anyone but Jesus. The desire of his heart
was that the Messiah would come and change the character
of the world from depravity and corruption to holiness--
"Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion!
When the Lord restores His captive people, Jacob will be
rejoicing and Israel will be glad" (Psa 14:7). To release
His children from the chains of sin is a mercy work by God
that He does good to His people. It's the holy way for His
people to receive the blessings that were promised to the
pious forefathers who prayed for the future generations.
Let us remember Who has the holier and righteous way.
God's Name is Jehová Elohim. He is the God who puts
our feet on a Highway of Holiness that allows us to
enter at the narrow gate of eternal life, not the wide
Broadway that leads to destruction. Lift your hands,
heart to Him for His Creation and provision of the
righteous way. You can Trust Him and Praise Him
Today for a holy way and better way!
