Who is truly holy to wage a holy war? What belief constitutes
sacrificing your life? Would you die for what you believe? Is
America right to aggressively search and destroy terrorists?
The Scripture tells us that there is no one righteous, no not
one holy, but how blessed is the man whose sins are forgiven.
Only one belief is worth dying for and that is your faith in
Jesus Christ. The Scripture tells us that our government
authorities are ministers that God has placed over us
for our protection. To search and destroy barbarians who
have openly declared war against us is certainly justified.
Jesus said what comes from the heart is what defiles a man,
or what he conceives in his heart to do what is wrong, for
those thoughts then become actions, ie. murders, adulteries,
thefts, etc. Not the things he puts in his body. How then
can a man be a holy man?
Paul tells us that our mind and our heart can be renewed
and transformed, but we must make a sacrifice. That is
the sacrifice of putting God in charge of our body and
mind. Another word for that is your act of worship to
Him. You may then prove what is holy and acceptable.
Today we can set aside a holy day to seek Him and to
please Him. Today we can search for the holiness that
Jesus spoke of to His disciples, that holiness we must
have to see God.
Let us remember who has the holier and righteous way.
God's name is Jehová Elohim. He is the God who puts
our feet on a highway of holiness that allows us to
enter at the narrow gate of eternal life, not the
broadway that leads to destruction. Angels surround
His throne continually to say holy, holy, holy is the
Lord our God. You can Trust Him and Praise Him
Today for a holy way and better way!
