What would you would consider the perfect circumstance?
What do you believe could threaten that perfect situation?
Who could help you safeguard your perfect life situation?
The Scripture tells us that man was made perfect and put
in the perfect life situation, but did not appreciate it:
"This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but
men have gone in search of many schemes" (Ecc 7:29). Each
one of us have turned away to our own way, our own undoing.
The threat to the perfect situation was the lack of desire
to maintain and protect that perfect life situation. The
Scripture tells us that God tempts no man, but that each
one is led to sin by his own desire and decision. To put
a bridle on our own scheme actually becomes our protection:
Wisdom is to turn from the temptation and out of harm's
way. Wisdom says: "I walk in the way of righteousness,
along the paths of justice" (Pro 8:20).
The writer of the Proverbs tells us that wisdom was present
at the time of man's creation and was quite pleased with man:
"rejoicing in His whole world and delighting in mankind"
(Pro 8:31). God's wisdom speaks continually to us and is
happy to lead us in the righteous and everlasting way.
Let us remember who has the holier and righteous way.
God's name is Jehová Elohim. He is the God who puts
our feet on a highway of holiness that allows us to
enter at the narrow gate of eternal life, not the
broadway that leads to destruction. Lift your
hands to Him for His protection and safety of the
righteous way. You can Trust Him and Praise Him
Today for a holy way and better way!
