Will uncivilized people in remote areas of the world have
an excuse before God that they did not know any better way
to live? Does a person who suffers greatly have a reason to
blame God and be angry with Him? Are you a possession or do
you belong to anyone and could that thought make one fearful?
Paul tells us that no person will have an excuse before God
that he had no knowledge of His existence (Rom 1:18), but
that the person has deceived himself to believe false notions
and lies-"Who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and
worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator,
who is blessed forever, Amen" (Rom 1:25). That person that
denies the God that created him will not find mercy on the
day he meets his Maker--"Therefore their Maker will not have
compassion on them. And their Creator will not be gracious
to them" (Isa 27:11).
Isaiah tells us that our God is faithful to those who
suffer: "Therefore let those who suffer according to
the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good,
as to a faithful Creator" (1Pet 4:19). He has made a
promise and has a purpose for those He has created to
teach them and make them to be holy. Those that make
the commitment to be holy will find mercy and grace.
The Scripture tells us that it is a wise notion to fear
God and revere Him, but with that wisdom that comes
from salvation, one finds that God promises nothing
to fear--"But now, thus says the LORD, your Creator,
O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, "Do not
fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name;
you are Mine" (Isa 43:1). "I am His and He is mine" is
knowledge that secures our soul and drives out fear.
Let us remember who has the holier and righteous way.
God's name is Jehová Elohim. He is the God who puts
our feet on a highway of holiness that allows us to
enter at the narrow gate of eternal life, not the wide
broadway that leads to destruction. Lift your hands,
heart to Him for His creation and provision of the
righteous way. You can Trust Him and Praise Him
Today for a holy way and better way!
