Is there anything that you know of that will endure for

all eternity? Is it certain that this "anything" won't fail

or pass the test for enduring? If you were certain that it

would never pass away or end and would endure for all

eternity, would you consider it valuable?

Peter wrote to the early believers to explain to them

the permanency of God's Word and His perfect Gospel--

"But the Word of the Lord abides for Eternity, And this

is the Word which in the Good News is preached to you"

(1Pet 1:25). God's Word has a purpose for us that is

the "Good News", the Gospel, that releases us from the

law of sin and death. The complete fulfillment of His

Word and promise to us is our secure foundation.

Isaiah preached of the certainty of the Word of God and

noted the temporal nature of our world and its contents-

"The grass withers, the flower fades, But the Word of

our God will last for all Eternity" (Isa 40:8). To make

a decision based on the certainty of the Word of God is

wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit. Those that are

planning their futures with the eternal God are intent

to know Him intimately now by His eternal Word.

Jesus explained that the Word of God has such an enduring

feature that not even a part of it can fail in any type of test-

"But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than

one stroke of a letter of the Law to fail" (Luke 16:17).

The Word of God is purer than any element that exists in

universe and will not fail in the very least point. It is

the eternal Word of the eternal God that will not end.

Let us remember the God that is our Everlasting God. God's

Name is Jehová El Olam. He is the God of Eternity that always

was and always will be. He is the God who has an eternal purpose

for us that Exceeds what any mind may conceive. He understands

human frailty and the shortness of life. Lift your hands to Him

and Praise Him today for the fact that He is the God who is our

Everlasting God that will always be there for us!
