Should a person stand up for what he believes if all
others around him disagree with him? Who determines
or who can judge the status of that decision that the
person is following? Who would support that person in
his decision, even though it appeared very narrow?
After God created the earth and man fell from grace and
sinned, the world became increasingly wicked; God began
to have regrets for creating man. However He found hope
because one man wanted to do right. Because Noah asked
for mercy, he was offered clemency and pardon for sin--
"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord" (Gen 6:8).
Even though all the world was going the other direction,
Noah decided to follow God and became a preacher of the
ritgheousness of God.
The wise King Solomon noticed in his unmatched wisdom that
a man's actions do not go without His notice. God doesn't
ever have a problem finding us to know our current status--
"The eyes of the Lord are in every place, that see the
evil and the good" (Pro 15:3). Some may want to hide and
others may want to run, but one can't escape the view and
knowledge that God has of us.
Peter explains to us that God is listening to the prayers
of His righteous ones, those that have found His grace---
"For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and
His ears are open to their prayers: but the face of the
Lord is against them that do evil" (1Pet 3:12). It is a
very wise action to make a priority of experiencing the
grace of God to gain His support in our life.
Let us remember who is the God that sees all things.
God's Name is Jehová El Roi. He is the God that sees
the NEEDS of His people, that is our moral conscience
and strength daily, and is our strong support because
our hearts are truly His. Lift your hands to Him and
Praise Him today for the fact that He is the God that
that sees everything that we need!
