During a recent conversation with a computer expert about
the number of satellites in orbit around our earth, he
informed me that there was a file that contained digital
photos of every square meter of this planet. Is there any
place that you think God can't see? Do you believe that He
has a purpose for each one us? Should we be encouraged to
live a pure life without pride knowing His watchful eye is
always on our lives?
Wise King Solomon probably didn't know about satellites
that could watch from high above the heavens, but he did
know that every square meter of earth could be seen by Him
quite well. There is no place that God can't see on earth-
"The Eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch
on the evil and the good" (Pro 15:3). Adam and Eve tried
to get away from God's view after they had sinned, but God
searched for them to restore them and save them from death.
God looks beyond our faults to see our needs.
Isaiah testified of the purpose that God had for him and
that purpose was established while he was being formed--
"And now, says the Lord, who made me his servant when I
was still in my mother's body, so that I might make Jacob
come back to Him, and so that Israel might come together
to Him: and I was honoured in the Eyes of the Lord, and
my God became my strength" (Isa 49:5). His purpose was to
preach to God's people to bring repentance. He found that
because he listened to God's call, God met his daily needs
and strengthened him. He was happy God honored him for that.
James knew that to receive that honor from God he had to get
rid of the pride in his life to serve God in spirit and truth-
"Make yourselves low in the Eyes of the Lord and you will
be lifted up by Him" (James 4:10). God makes the man great in
His eyes when he humbles himself before God. John the Baptist
was a great man because of a humble and pure life before God-
"For he will be great in the Eyes of the Lord; he will not
take wine or strong drink; and he will be full of the Spirit
of God from his birth" (Luk 1:15). The view that God had of
him was more important than any other could see or think.
Let us remember who is the God that sees all things.
God's Name is Jehová El Roi. He is the God that sees
the NEEDS of His people, that is our moral conscience
and strength daily, and is our strong support because
our hearts are truly His. Lift your hands to Him and
Praise Him today for the fact that He is the God that
that sees everything that we need!
