Are there many choices that a person can make in life?
Is there any assistance available to the person wanting
to make the right decision? Can anyone see every choice
that people make in life?
Wise King Solomon was inspired by the Holy Spirit to be
mindful that God knows every detail of the life of every
person and that He is watching the decisions all make--
"For the ways of a man are before the eyes of the Lord,
And He watches all his paths" (Pro 5:21). There are many
paths to take, but only one that leads to true wisdom,
righteousness, and eternal life.
The Scripture tells us that God listened intently to the
prophet Moses. He also looked to see the needs of Moses,
to be merciful and kind to him, to assist him in duties-
"And the Lord descended in the cloud and stood there with
him as he called upon the Name of the Lord" (Exo 34:5).
Moses understood that no one could approach God without
God's pardon; that pardon is only received by repentance
of sins and the resolution to cease from the practice of
sin. He believed in every perfection of God in judgment
and mercy. He trusted Him as his perfect Father!
The Scripture records the event between Jacob and Laban
when Jacob completed his years of service to marry his
daughters. Laban didn't want to see Jacob, his daughters
and grandchildren leave, but Jacob responded that it was
the providence of God and Laban should not blame him for
leaving. Jacob believed God sees every circumstance and
the Lord will work on behalf of the one who fears Him--
"God has seen my affliction and the toil of my hands,
so He made judgment last night" (Gen 31:42b). If Jacob
worked that many years and suffered to be a husband and
and son-in-law, how much effort should one make to be a
son of God?
Let us remember who is the God that sees all things.
God's Name is Jehová El Roi. He is the God that sees
the NEEDS of His people, that is our moral conscience
and strength daily, and is our strong support because
our hearts are truly His. Lift your hands to Him and
Praise Him today for the fact that He is the God that
that sees everything that we need!
