If a person had the power to see everything, would
that person know a lot? What is possible to do with
so much information? Is there a person that actually
can see everything?
The Scripture tells us that Hagar was a woman that
God saw and heard of her problem. Hagar was pregnant
with the child of Abraham and very sad because she
had been mistreated at the hand of Sarah. God spoke
to her in her distress and counseled her also. The
impact of her encounter with God was so great that
she called God by a special name.(Gen 16:9)
Jesus tells us that God sees even the things done
in secret (Mat 6:6). Job tells us that God sees
everything under the heavens and views to the ends
of the earth(Job 28:24). Job tells us that He sees
every step of a man and there is no place an evil
person can hide (Job 34:21-22). The Psalmist tells
us that God watches all mankind from His dwelling
place. The Scripture tells us that one day God will
judge us by what He has seen and heard (Heb 9:27).
The Scripture tells us another purpose in His view
and ever present eye on mankind is to support us.
As with Hagar, He watches and listens in our lives,
to help us. "For the eyes of the LORD range throughout
the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully
committed to him." (2Chr 16:9)
Let us remember who is the God that sees all things.
God's name is Jehová El Roi. He is the God that sees
the needs of His people, to be the moral conscience
and strength daily, and to strongly support those
whose hearts are truly His. Lift your hands to Him
and Praise Him today for the fact that He is the
all-seeing God today!
