Would you believe it possible for someone born in the most

humble surroundings to become the most powerful person in

in the world and universe? What do you believe was His secret

of success to rise to such a position? Would you think it

was a bit unusual for the richest and most powerful Man in

the world and universe to give up all riches, power, and

honor to live a humble life as a servant and then give His

life up sacrificially so that many others could live?

The account of Luke of the birth of Jesus tells us of the

humble means that surrounded Jesus when He came to earth--

"While they were in Bethlehem, the time came for her to

have her baby. She gave birth to her first son, wrapped

Him in cloths and laid Him in a manger—there was no room

for them at the inn" (Luk 2:6-7). God's miraculous power

was used for a virgin birth to occur, the seed of God

without the blemish of sin. God chose to display to the

world that had no room for a Savior His power by humility.

Paul described the manner of the prayers of Jesus that gave

Him powerful results to all He asked from the Father---

"In his life on earth Jesus made His prayers and requests

with loud cries and tears to God, who could save Him from

death. Because He was humble and devoted, God heard Him.

  But even though He was God's Son, He learned through His

sufferings to be obedient" (Heb 5:7-8). His supernatural

power was used to overcome suffering and sin for us.

Paul explained to the Philippians that Jesus gave up all

riches to come to earth to use the power of humility---

"He always had the nature of God, but He did not think that

by force He should try to remain equal with God. Instead of

this, of His own free will He gave up all He had, and took

the nature of a servant. He became like a human being and

appeared in human likeness. He was humble and walked the

path of obedience all the way to death— His death on the

cross.  For this reason God raised Him to the highest place

above and gave Him the Name that is greater than any other

name" (Philippians 2:6-8). His humility was His power and

and strength to defend and support us overcoming sin.

Let us remember who is the all powerful and Mighty God.

God's Name is Jehová El Shaddai. He is the God who

uses His strength to defend and support us. His power can

give us all we need to live righteously . Lift your hands to

the most powerful God of all the universe. You can Trust

Him Today for strength and power in your life!
