What is the question that the person without Christ and
without conscience asks to himself and to his friends?
How should one acknowldege God and what He has done so
that when one testifies of God's goodness, God receives
the full credit? What is God's purpose for allowing His
people to suffer from their errors?
The Psalmist was almost convinced of the question and the
lifestyle by the person without Christ. How could God see
it all and know about me? There will be no accounting here-
"And they said: How does God know? and is there knowledge
with the Most High God? (Psa 72:11) He was almost convinced
until he saw their end. The Most High God will demand an
accounting in the end, a complete and full accounting. The
question should be: How could a man live his life with the
notion that he would never have to answer to the Most High
God who gave him life, but he neglected to know Him?
The Scripture tells us Abram did not hesitate after victory
in battle to give God glory and acknowledge that the outcome
was a result of God's hand. He told his ally that God did it--
"And Abram answered him: I lift up my hand to the Lord God
Most High, the possessor of heaven and earth" (Gen 14:22).
We should remind those that celebrate great victories that
it is God who is responsible for every good outcome.
The Psalmist explained that often times His own people
do not speak well of Him and then turn away from God
to go their own way. But with discipline, they changed-
"And they remembered that God was their helper: and
the Most High God their redeemer" (Psa 77:35). It
is a sad day when anyone forgets God, or does not speak
well of Him, or wish to know Him.
Let us remember who has the higher and better way.
God's Name is Jehová Elyon. His thoughts and ways
are higher than ours. He has the solution to every
problem that we face. That solution and way can be
yours today as well. Can you turn your eyes towards
heaven 3 times today and pray to the Most High God
for a higher way? Lift your hands to Him today for
His higher way. Trust Him and Praise Him Today for
a higher and better way!
