Do you believe that the world's most reknown astronomers
and scientists can explain how stars are formed and the
universe was created? Do you often rely on something that
you do not understand totally (perhaps the engine in your
car)? Do you have a friend that is an expert that can help
you and sypmathize with what you don't understand?
The counsel of Job's friend reminded him that God
could see his affliction and knew his pain. Job could
not see the outcome or understand God' purpose for
allowing so much heartache in his life--"Is not God in
the height of heaven? And see the highest stars, how
lofty they are" (Job 22:12)! Ceratinly if we cannot
understand the high creation, how can we understand
all of His purposes and plans?
The writer of the Hebrews continues to remind us that
God sympathizes with our trials and our temptations--
"Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has
passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let
us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High
Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but
was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin"
Certainly One without sin, One well acquainted with
grief, and One with the highest way is capable to
lead us in a higher and better way!
The writer to the Hebrews tells us that our Priest is
complete in His position and place. His way will
lead us in the higher way--"For such a High Priest
was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled,
separate from sinners, and has become higher than
the heavens" (Heb 7:26). The higher way that we
follow by faith leads us in a holy way when we don't
understand our circumstances.
Let us remember who has the higher and better way.
God's name is Jehová Elyon. He is the God of the highest
and the best way. He has the solution to every problem
that we face. That solution and way can be yours today
as well. Can you turn your eyes towards heaven 3 times
today and pray to the most High God for a higher way?
Lift your hands to Him today for His higher way. Trust
Him and Praise Him Today for a higher and better way!
