Do you ever feel overwhelmed by your circumstances or
by so many errors? What is the secret to manage those
overwhelming circumstances and to right many errors?
Is there a path to follow or instruction to lead us to a
way higher than our cirucumstances?
The Scripture tells us that Ezra was a man overwhelmed
by his circumstances and confessed the failure of his
people to God--I am too ashamed to raise my head in
Your presence. Our sins pile up higher than our heads;
they reach as high as the heavens" (Ezra 9:6). But he
realized that the most high God was his hope and
relied on His mercy and grace to forgive Israel and
make things right again.
The Psalmist prophesied of the Messiah, Jesus to come
and that He would rise to be the highest king of the
earth-- "He shall cry unto Me, You are my Father, My
God, and the rock of my salvation. I also will make Him
My first-born, The highest of the kings of the earth.
My lovingkindness will I keep for Him for evermore;
And My covenant shall stand fast with Him" (Psa 89:
26-28). Jesus is the one that could not be overwhelmed
with sin or circumstances but Who overcame by His
sacrificial life and confidential trust in His Father.
Paul tells us that now Jesus is on the highest throne
because of His higher way--"For this reason God raised
Him to the highest place above and gave Him the
Name that is greater than any other name" (Phil 2:9).
His higher way is a narrow way that leads to eternal life.
For our life here and now, His higher way will not let
us be overwhelmed if we make Him our higher way.
Let us remember who has the higher and better way.
God's name is Jehová Elyon. His thoughts and ways
are higher than ours. He has the solution to every
problem that we face. That solution and way can be
yours today as well. Can you turn your eyes towards
heaven 3 times today and pray to the most High God
for a higher way? Lift your hands to Him today for
His higher way. Trust Him and Praise Him Today for
a higher and better way!
