What is the power that is present now that was present
at the time of the creation of the world? When a person
practices what he believes, does he make progress at that
endeavor? How important is a person's outward appearance
of actions to those around him?
The Scripture tells us that God spoke and the creation
came into being; His Word was the plan of creation---
"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light"
(Gen 1:3). Paul tells us that by that same process that
the universe was created, the believer is also created
by the Word of the Lord that he hears and then believes-
"So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of
Christ" (Rom 10:17). His Word has the power to make a
person born again and become a new creature.
Paul wrote to young Timothy to encourage him that God's
creative power would help him to progress in God's Kingdom
as he practiced His Principles in sincerity and devotion-
"Practice the things that you have learned from the Word
of God and devote yourself to them, in order that your
Progress may be seen by all" (1Tim 4:15). The practice of
those principles is the good work that is acceptable.
Paul explained to the Galatians that a man's outward
appearance is not the Primary concern of God's purpose-
"It does not matter at all if one has been circumcised;
what does matter is being a new creature" (Gal 6:15).
His Purpose is to change a person from the inside out.
The internal person is more important to God, and that
the Personal fellowship remains intimate with Him.
Let us remember who is the Creator of the universe. God's
Name is Jehová Hoseem. He is the God who is the Creator
of our faith and reason. He is the Creator of our growth
and progress in Him. He is the Creator of the new creature
spiritually. Trust Him and Praise Him Today for all the
"new" that has come and the "old" that has passed away. He
made an encounter with each of us to follow Him.
