How is it possible for anything to be created in our world?
Does any creator grow attached to what he has created and
is he concerned about its existence? Is there an instinct
by a mother and father to nurture newborn infant?
Moses explained to Israel that any creation begins by
faith. For anything to be created one must believe that
it can be done. In Israel's case, the promise of a nation
came by the faith in God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob--
"God is your father, your Creator, He made you into the
nation that you are" (Deut32:6b). God more specifically
created a nation for Himself- "The Most High assigned
nations their lands; He determined where peoples should
live. He assigned to each nation a heavenly being, but
Jacob's descendants He chose for Himself" (Deut 32:8-9).
Moses purpose to explain this to Israel was to motivate
them to consider their actions and gratitude to a God
that had extended measures and measures of grace to them.
Moses explained what God did for Israel as they began to
grow as a nation; He monitored their growth and progress-
"He found them wandering through the desert, a desolate,
wind-swept wilderness. He protected them and cared for
them, as He would protect Himself. Like an eagle teaching
its young to fly, catching them safely on its spreading
wings, the Lord kept Israel from falling" (Deut 32:10-11).
Their Creator was intently interested in their development
to keep them safe and to provide for them.
Jeremiah prayed for God's direction and guiding hand to
make Israel new again in His sight and for His nurture--
"Turn us back to You, O Lord, and we will be restored;
Renew our days as of old" (Lam 5:21). He wanted the
Lord's acceptance and help for Israel as a new creature.
Paul explained to the Ephesians that believers were new
creatures now and a new method of thinking was in order-
"And be Renewed in the spirit of your mind" (Eph 4:23).
That renewal of mind came from allowing God to have His
way in their lives.
Let us remember who is the Creator of the universe. God's
Name is Jehová Hoseem. He is the God who is the Creator
of our faith and reason. He is the Creator of our growth
and progress in Him. He is the Creator of the New Creature
spiritually. Trust Him and Praise Him Today for all the
"new" that has come and the "old" that has passed away. He
is determined to bring us joy as we progress in Him.
