What makes a person unreasonable and angry at the world
that is around him? Are growth and progress accomplished
for any persons during an angry circumstance? What can
change a man's angry disposition?
Daniel tells us that the King in his new land that he was
serving became unnerved and could not reason about a dream
that he had. He then issued a very unreasonable command--
"For this reason the King was angry and very furious, he
then gave a command to destroy all the wise men of Babylon"
(Dan 2:12). The answer was revealed to Daniel by a divine
revelation. One can only have faith by hearing the Word of
God and one can only reason logically by having faith in
God. Daniel explained God's creation plan to the King.
The Psalmist explained that God progresses His cause even
when powerful men are unreasonable and furious with life-
"For the wrath of man shall praise You; With a remnant of
wrath You will cover Yourself" (Psa 76:10). The Psalmist
also lived in an angry world, but God sets bounds to the
wrath of man just as He does to the raging seas that He
created. As the Believer/Disciple fears only God, and not
what man may do, he grows and progresses with the Lord!
Paul explained to Timothy that he was once a very angry man
but that God was merciful to him and made him a new creature-
"However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first
Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to
those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life"
(1Tim 1:16). Paul reasoned that if he could find mercy for
the terrible sins that he committed, then anyone could be
saved if they only would accept God's free pardon and turn
away from an old angry life.
Let us remember Who has the holier and righteous way.
Let us remember who is the Creator of the universe. God's
Name is Jehová Hoseem. He is the God who is the Creator
of our faith and reason. He is the Creator of our growth
and progress in Him. He is the Creator of the New Creature
spiritually. Trust Him and Praise Him Today for all the
"new" that has come and the "old" that has passed away. He
is determined to bring us joy as we progress in Him.
