If you had the opportunity to make a new start in your
life and begin again, would you accept that unique gift?
Would you consider yourself at that point a new person
with considerably more possibilities in your life? Would
you expect a great deal of growth in all areas of your
life?
The Scripture tells us that for a person to have a new
start and new life, it begins with faith and a believing
mind. That faith does not really orginate in a person's
being, but "faith comes by hearing the Word of God". Paul
tells us: "Your faith, then, does not rest on human wisdom
but on God's power" (1Cor 2:5). God is the Creator of a
believing new heart and mind that offers a new start.
The greatest miracle in the world is that of a new born
creature. We are new in Christ with endless possibilities
because we now face an eternal future of God's blessing.
That new faith becomes a method of change of life and
heart. Paul tells us: "At all times carry faith as a
shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the
burning arrows shot by the Evil One" (Eph 6:16). All
that assails the new creature can be defeated by faith.
God is the Creator of a new creature.
The Scipture clearly states that some will abandon that
faith when the day of testing comes. However God provides
a way of escape for each temptation and knows how to
deliver His disciples from sin. To continue in faith
means that our faith will continue to grow if we do not
lose heart and turn back. Paul tells us: "Our friends,
we must thank God at all times for you. It is right for
us to do so, because your faith is growing so much and
the love each of you has for the others is becoming
greater" (2Thes 1:3). God is the Creator of our spiritual
growth and will. That growth will also be God's will.
Let us remember who is the Creator of the universe. God's
name is Jehová Hoseem. He is the God who is the Creator
of our faith and reason. He is the Creator of our growth
and progress in Him. He is the Creator of the new creature
spiritually. Trust Him and Praise Him Today for all the
"new" that has come and the "old" that has passed away.
