What type of person says that God does not exist and that
He did not create the universe? Is it posssible for someone
to receive a new heart and spirit? What type of knowledge
is best to acquire for the total person to grow and benefit?
The Psalmist tells us that a foolish person denies that God
exists--"The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God."
They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There
is none who does good" (Psa 14:1). The visible proof of
one who believes God is the action of his life.
God spoke to us through Ezekiel the prophet to tell us that
with a statement of faith and belief in Him, He begins to
make a change in that person--"I will give you a new heart
and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of
stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh"
(Eze 36:26). It is a new creation that God makes from
the old person that God changes to be like Jesus.
Peter tells that we should grow in the grace of God and
consider that grace that now keeps us from sin--- "But
grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever
Amen" (2Pet 3:18). To know Him better will be a great
benefit and gain.
Let us remember who is the Creator of the universe. God's
name is Jehová Hoseem. He is the God who is the Creator
of our faith and reason. He is the Creator of our growth
and progress in Him. He is the Creator of the new creature
spiritually. Trust Him and Praise Him Today for all the
"new" that has come and the "old" that has passed away.
