What is the great tragedy of long hours at work and there
is no home life? Is there an alternative to avoid such a
problem and tragedy? What will be the outcome for the one
that chooses the alternative?
Wise King Solomon wrote of the tragedy of those that did
not have a companion. A person may be alone in this world
without friends, companions; but Jesus wants companionship
with every individual, even the difficult ones as friends-
"There is one alone, without companion: He has neither son
nor brother. Yet there is no end to all his labors, Nor is
his eye satisfied with riches. But he never asks, "For whom
do I toil and deprive myself of good?" This also is vanity
and a grave misfortune" (Ecc 4:8). Jesus asks those that
are tired without an end in sight to their work to come to
Him. He does not want anyone to suffer the misfortune of
much work and loss of reward. Jesus speaks with His wisdom.
Solomon taught that a bright disposition of a person is
is a result of person with a serene mind. Communion with
Jesus gives wise counsel and clear conscience as the best
Counselor available anywhere. He advises for solutions--
"Who is like the wise man and who knows the interpretation
of a matter? A man's wisdom illumines him and causes his
stern face to beam" (Ecc 8:1). A Counselor that develops
wisdom in His companions adds courage to their integrity.
They understand that they have an honest cause to plead
when interpreting matters for right and to manage right.
Isaiah preached to those who had suffered from difficult
matters with no solutions. He preached to those who had
been alone and separated from loved ones. But comfort was
his theme for those that suffered. He prophesied what the
reconciled person to Christ would say about God's comfort-
"I will give thanks to You, O Lord; For although You were
angry with me, Your anger is turned away, And now You are
here to comfort me" (Isa 12:1). Every reconciled person to
God is grateful and is happy of the comfort that God gives!
Let us remember who is the God that is always with us. God's
Name is Jehová Shammah. He is the God that is our Companion.
His fellowship is our joy and confidence. He is our Counselor.
When we do not have an answer in difficult times, He gives us
the answer. Jehová Shammah is our Comforter. When we are
suffering, He comforts us with with His reassurance. He gives
more grace according to His promise. Lift your hands to Him
and Praise Him today for the fact that He is the God that
is always with us, our Immanuel!
