Who has power over the grave and death and is He the King
of the Universe? Why do some reject facts by live testimony
and others make right choices by accepting factual evidence?
What are the consequences when wrong choices are made to
deny the truth?
John tells us that people came from miles around to see Jesus
and to see Lazarus who Jesus was able to revive from the grave-
"They took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet Him,
and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that comes
in the Name of the Lord (John 12:13). Not only is Jesus King
of Israel, the physical and spiritual Israel, but He is King
of the Universe with power over sin, death, and the gates of
hell. He has accomlished salvation for us and is the King of
glory Who now sits at the right hand of the Father. People of
faith paid tribute to the King of Salvation that day!
John recognized that many continued in unbelief of Jesus,
even though the evidence (Lazarus) of His power over death
was with Him in Jerusalem. Those unbelievers were wrong---
"Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on
Him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him,
for they did not want to be put out of the synagogue: Those
were searching for the praise of men more than the praise of
God" (John 12:42-43). It is dangerous to reject facts and to
accept error. Jesus is worthy of our praise every day!
Jesus warned every man to consider the facts and evidence,
a principle of life and death is operating at present-
"Certainly and truly I say to you, If a corn of wheat falls
into the ground and dies, it stays alone: but if it dies, it
brings forth much fruit. He that loves his life shall lose
it; and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it
forever. If any man will serve Me, let him follow Me; and
where I AM, there will also My servant be: if any man will
serve Me, him will My Father honor" (John 12:24-26). It
is an honor and eternal reward for accepting true facts and
evidence. There is a penalty and a punishment for denying
and neglecting the truth.
Let us remember who is our Savior. God's Name is Jehová
Yeshua . He is the God of Salvation when the impossible
situation troubles us. He is the God that sends us a message
of hope when we don't believe we can make it . Raise your
hands to the Lord Of Salvation. Praise Him and thank Him
as the Messiah of Salvation Today!
