What impossible situation could defeat the world's most
powerful person? Is there anyone that has overcome that
impossible situtation and been successful? What can one
do to overcome that impossible situation that everybody
will eventually face one day?
At the day of Pentecost, Peter stood up with the eleven
disciples and preached to the men of Judea and Jerusalem
to declare that they were very sane and God will judge-
"But God raised Him up, having freed Him from any death,
because it was impossible for Him to be held in its power
(Acts 2:24). Death may seem like an impossible defeat to
every living person, but it is the Believer's hope and
his greatest victory in Christ that death will not defeat
the Believer. Without the hope of Christ in the life of a
people, they will face a Righteous Judge and they will be
quite surprised of the impossible situation that they find
themselves without hope because they did not accept Christ.
The Writer to the Hebrews explained that Jesus took on flesh
and blood and became a person like us and experienced death
after a perfect life that none of us could live and overcame-
"Since then the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself
likewise also partook of the same, that by His death He could
render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the
the devil" (Heb 2:14). This atonement made way for His people's
deliverance from Satan's bondage, and for the pardon of their
sins through faith. That death of Jesus took the power of the
one who wielded the power, Satan. Jesus has taken the prey of
Satan, man who is captive by breaking God's law, and freed him
from the power of death.
Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy sent greetings to those in Thessalonica
to encourage them to remain firm in their faith and God will help--
"Wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is
Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come" (2Thes 1:10). Paul
preached in the same manner as Peter that to avoid the wrath and the
terrible events to come, one must continue to trust God, and wait
for His help that is sure to come to those that love Him.
Let us remember who is our Savior. God's Name is Jehová
Yeshua . He is the God of Salvation when the impossible
situation troubles us. He is the God that sends us a message
of hope when we don't believe we can make it . Raise your
hands to the Lord Of Salvation. Praise Him and thank Him
as the Messiah of Salvation Today!
