Do you know anyone that has ever been in deep, deep
trouble? Have you ever faced an impossible situation
that looked hopeless and you would be defeated? Is
there anyone that you know that can help in times of
trouble and difficult circumstances?
The Scripture tells us that Jonah was in deep water
and then in deep trouble. He had seaweed around his
head and he was about to be digested by a big fish.
But his knowledge of the power of praise to God came
to his mind, and he began to believe God for help--
"But I will sing praises to you; I will offer you a
sacrifice and do what I have promised. Salvation is
from the Lord!" (Jon 2:9). Jonah believed in mercies
from God and anticipated that God would have mercy
on him. He made amended his ideas, ways, and wanted
to obey the God of Salvation!
The Scripture tells us that King Jehoshaphat was in
trouble. Israel faced enemies ready for battle from
Moab and Ammon. He made battle plans by knowledge
of God's way and prayer with the Lord for the victory!
"And when he had consulted with the people, he went
and appointed those who sang to the Lord and those
who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out
before the army and said, "Give thanks to the Lord,
for His lovingkindness is everlasting" (2Chr 20:21).
He began his attack as if the Lord had already given
him the victory. God honors the confidence placed in
Him, to trust Him in all problems and situations! He
praised God the He is the God of Salvation!
John tells us that Jesus explained to the woman at
the well that past sins cannot bar one from having
Salvation. One must humble himself before Him and
believe that He is the only source of eternal life-
"You worship that which you do not know; we worship
that which we know, for salvation is from the Jews"
(John 4:22). All the Jewish prophets foretold that
that the Savior of the world would come from Israel.
Jesus was that author of salvation that appeared to
them to be a blessing to them. The knowledge of Who
to worship came from Israel. The Word of salvation
came from Israel to bless all other nations. All the
trouble of her past sins did not prevent His Salvation
and for the woman to know the Messiah!
Let us remember who is our Savior. God's Name is Jehová
Yeshua . He is the God of Salvation when the impossible
situation troubles us. He is the God that sends us a message
of hope when we don't believe we can make it . Raise your
hands to the Lord Of Salvation. Praise Him and thank Him
as the Messiah of Salvation Today!
