Have you ever felt like your back was up against the wall with
nowhere to go? Was there anyone to turn to help you during that
time? What is (was) the secret to make it when circumstances
exhaust your own resources?
Moses was a man facing impossible circumstances but God helped
him and he sang this song: "The LORD is my strength and my song;
He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him,
my father's God, and I will exalt Him. The LORD is a warrior;
the LORD is His name. Pharaoh's chariots and his army He has
hurled into the sea. The best of Pharaoh's officers are drowned
in the Red Sea (Exo 15:2-4).
David found someone to call when he was in trouble: "The LORD
is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock,
in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation.
He is my stronghold, my refuge and my Savior-- from violent
men you save me. I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise,
and I am saved from my enemies. "The waves of death swirled
about me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. The
cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death
confronted me. In my distress I called to the LORD; I called
out to my God. From his temple He heard my voice; my cry came
to His ears. "The earth trembled and quaked, the foundations
of the heavens shook; they trembled because He was angry
(2 Sam 22:2-8).
Moses was a murderer and David a murderer and adulterer.
They were men like us that relied on God and His mercy
to deliver them from all their troubles. Isaiah said: "Surely
God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The
LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; He has
become my salvation" (Isa 12:2).
Let us remember who is our Savior. God's name is Jehová
Yeshua . He is the God of Salvation when the impossible
situation troubles us. He is the God that sends us a message
of hope when we don't believe we can make it . Raise your
hands to the Lord Of Salvation. Praise Him and thank Him
as the Messiah of Salvation Today!
