The nineties have been called the "now generation". If
you were in a car accident, would you want the air bags
to open now or would you like the option to open them at
a later time? Would you consider it neglect by the auto
manufacturer if safety standards were not equipped with
the new car that you purchased? If you were in distress
do you believe that your rescue would be far off or near?
Paul tells us that preventing spiritual disaster is God's
will for all mankind. Later is not the time to accept His
plan for your spiritual safety----"For God says: "In an
acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of
salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the
accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation"
(2Cor 6:2). Consider His offer of salvation now.
Paul tells us that God has not neglected mankind, but it
is man who has neglected His offer of spiritual safety--
"How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation,
which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and
was confirmed to us by those who heard Him" (Heb 2:3).
There is a real danger to neglect God's grace and mercy.
To face an eternity without God's help would be a tragedy.
Paul tells us that help from God is not far away, but
that it's close to you---"The word is near you, in
your mouth and in your heart that is, the word of faith
that we preach" (Rom 10:8). Anyone that draws near to
God, He will draw near to them with His salvation.
Let us remember who is our Savior. God's name is Jehová
Yeshua . He is the God of Salvation though it is difficult
to understand. He relieves our fears and protects us. He
is the God that saves us from death and daily blesses us.
Raise your hands to the Lord Of Salvation. Praise Him
and thank Him as the Messiah of Salvation Today!
