Who does God choose to give His possession of Salvation and
protection? What proof do we have that God is the possessor
of Salvation and works great wonders and miracles? What kind
of person qualifies to be given God's possession of Salvation
and protection?
The Psalmist knew that Salvation was a possession of God that
He gave to His chosen ones and those who answered His call--
"Arise, O Jehová; Save me, O my God: For You have struck
all my enemies on the cheek bone; You have broken the teeth
of the wicked. Salvation belongs to Jehová: Your blessing
will be on Your people" [Selah] (Sal 3:7-8). God blessed,
protected, and saved His people, His possession.
The Lord proved His faithfulness and His Salvation to
His people and told Moses to let the people take note and
watch-"And Moses said to the people, Do not fear, stand
still, and see the Salvation of Jehová, which He will work
for you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today,
you will see them again no more for ever. Jehová will
fight for you, and you will be at peace" (Exo 14:13-14).
There are great benefits to those that serve God.
The Psalmist tells us that Salvation is for the person
that loves the Lord, pleases Him, and trusts His promise--
"I love You, O Jehová, my Strength. Jehová is my Rock,
and my Fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in
whom I will take refuge; My Shield, and the Horn of my
Salvation, my High Tower-Jehová lives; And blessed be
my Rock; And the God of my Salvation will be exalted
forever" (Sal 18:1-2,46). The person that relies on Him
remembers to bless God and exalt Him.
Let us remember who is our Savior. God's Name is Jehová
Yeshua . He is the God of Salvation when the impossible
situation troubles us. He is the God that sends us a message
of hope when we don't believe we can make it . Raise your
hands to the Lord Of Salvation. Praise Him and thank Him
as the Messiah of Salvation Today!
